Though the group was involved in social activities from 1998, it was in the year 2004, the group decided to form a trust called “YES Trust”, to enable more into the activities of social work. Thus in August’2004, the Trust was registered in Mysore, Karnataka State, India. The group decided to have the Executive Committee as Trustees under the leadership of Mr.Deepak.B.S
The YES Trust has received exemption under Section 80-G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 with registered number Y-5/80G/CIT/Mys/2009-10 dated 24 April 2009 issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax (HQ), Mysore for the period 17 December 2008 to 31 March 2011.
Under section 80G deduction is available to any tax payer (may be individual, company, firm or any other person) making donation to YES Trust. 50% of the donation made is allowed to be deducted from the taxable income and consequently tax is calculated. The YES Trust welcomes Donations from Philanthropists. Your donation by way of Check or DD can drawn in the name of "YES Trust".
